As long-time exhibitors at the conference, Intland Software was happy to take part in embedded world 2018, the leading exhibition for the international embedded community. With our Automotive Innovation Show attracting a nice crowd, great networking in the breaks, and exciting conversations on embedded development challenges, this year’s exhibition & conference was a success for Intland.
embedded world is one of the year’s most anticipated events for embedded software & hardware experts. Organized for the 16th time this year, the conference and trade show attracted 1000+ exhibiting companies, and over 32,000 visitors from 78 countries.
Talks, workshops, and informal discussions enable those working in embedded development to share ideas and discuss current and future challenges in embedded technology. Keynote speeches were given by Mark Papermaster, CTO of AMD and Andrea Martin, IBM DACH CTO & IBM Global Markets Technical Executive. The theme of this year’s event was “Embedded Goes Autonomous”, focusing on the latest innovations in the embedded industry, and protecting networked embedded systems in the IoT.
Automotive Innovation Show
Continuing our tradition of success at embedded world, we partnered up with AImotive, users codeBeamer ALM and a successful startup developing self-driving technology for automotive use. Together, we presented our Automotive Innovation Show on the requirements management challenges of autonomous driving technology.
In his talk titled AI-based AV development – Managing iterative requirement validation, AImotive expert Tamás Csizmadia (Head of Safety and Compliance, Safety Engineering Department, AImotive) presented how the company uses a computer graphics-based simulation environment (aiSim) to validate autonomous driving systems. Participants had a chance to learn about the cutting-edge aiSim, AImotive’s simulator-based and AI-supported deep learning technology.
Intland Software’s consultants then helped the crowd understand how codeBeamer ALM aptly supports the development of such innovative technology, and why it is the ALM tool of choice for a growing number of safety-critical & traditional product developers worldwide.
Overall, embedded world 2018 was an exciting event that we’re happy to have been part of. Let us say thank you to all our visitors and AImotive’s experts for joining us and sharing ideas. We look forward to your visit at our booth at next year’s embedded world!
